How's it going guys! Welcome back to my blog. Things have been pretty hectic these days, which is why you guys aren't seeing a lot of features or coverages, but I'm starting to go out there when I can and because SoCal is about to get packed with meets and events, you'll be coming back to this blog almost every week just to check out what I covered (^-^)v I can tell you that my activeness in the scene won't be as much as last year because of my priorities, but I promise you that NI won't die out. Don't forget my blog has contributing photogs around the world, so you'll be seeing some awesome contents from them as well.

I'm sure many of you guys have noticed the constant event invites through facebook or new posts on forums regarding upcoming events, especially in Southern California. Looking through my event calendar today in the morning, there are more than 10 events in the next 2 months, so I'm pretty much listing which ones to go to rather than trying to go to every single event. I can say yesterday's meet hosted by Wrong Fitment Crew was a start to all the msjor meets because it had a great turnout! If it was your first time attending a car meet, then you went to the right one. I saw a few new cars and ones that changed a bit, so I'm excited to see the unexpected this year.

Gawd dam it's been a long ass time since I updated my blog. I did attend a few meets, but didn't cover them because for this year, it's mostly going to be a chillaxing time with the homies rather than making myself busy with my camera like I did last year. Fyi, it has nothing to do with me being cocky because some of you guys think my blog gained popularity in some way and I'm using that as a backup source to slack off, but seriously, I missed out on all the good times just because of being busy covering events, going to companies, doing interviews, etc. last year. Don't get me wrong, I met a lot of people and the friendship is still there, but this year will be a time period to get to know them even more and have fun! One downside of being active last year though, is not being able to resist covering an event because I love shooting! So I was pretty dam excited to attend yesterday's It's JDM yO!'s competition event to meet some friends and hoping to see some cars that didn't come out last year. I did plan on going early but because of partying till like 3~4am almost every other day, I woke up at 12pm, got my ass ready in about 10 minutes, and rushed to the event with my messed up tC. The cover photo is when the competition was about to begin and the first runner-up was Milt's Z from Low N Slow. The story will continue so read along~

I have so many photos to share with you guys this week, but I'll try to pace myself and the blog so that things can go smoothly as much as possible...Nawwwww~~~ I'll get to the AutoCon coverage pretty soon because I know some of you are waiting for it (^-^)v But before I get to that, I want to share a small coverage I did on Fatlace's 'occupy' meet today. I'm sure many of you SoCal guys know Fatlace opened up an Illest Boutique store in Little Tokyo. There were car meets at the HQ several times now and every single one had an overwhelming turnout. This meet though, was a bit different and pretty hilarious when you hear how it happend. Check it out.

Hello Guys & Gals! So in light of all the current events that’s been happening around the world with the whole #OCCUPY movement. Also with occupyLA just 1 City block away from IllestBoutique. I thought about a totally funny random scenario of what if we did that with cars?… Occupy a full city block square block of all modified cars… I laughed, Vince laughed & everyone I told got a nice kick about it… *10 minutes later* Lets do it!!!!

Literally taking every single parking spot surrounding the building was Fatlace's idea and sure enough (according to those who attended since 4:30am!) it was a success. I was exhausted after AutoCon on Saturday and really didn't want to wake up and go to the meet at 5:30am, so I overslept a bit and headed out later on.

I'm actually behind with a lot of features, so I'm very sorry with the ones I promised to post up on the day of announcement, but had to delay it for a few days. As many of you SoCal residents and my blog followers know, HIN (Hot Import Nights) was held at LA Convention Center yesterday night. The full coverage of the event will be up today or tomorrow, but before I get to it, I want to start it off with a small spotlight on a car I spotted and instantly fell in love with.

One event I missed out on few weeks ago was this meet I attended last year hosted by Marcus Cooke, a photographer for Canibeat and an owner of a sick G35. You'll probably be seeing a feature on his ride pretty soon, so I don't want to talk much about it, but Marcus started this meet few years ago after an idea of bringing all G35 owners together at one location to have a chillaxing time checking out other G35s and meeting new people. You might think this meet won't be too big because it is pretty much a model specific meet, but attending GTG II last year, I have to say this meet had the sickest G35s from California. Because I attended another event on this day, our editor Edgar Lozoya took my place and did an awesome job with coverage.

Wrong Fitment Crew (WFC)....this forum/site is the reason why I got into the hellaflush and stance scene. It feels as if it was yesterday when I typed in 'stance' on google, showing many sites as a result and one of them being WFC. Once I clicked on the link, my journey with the fitted scene began. To be honest, I don't even really remember how I came across the term 'stance'. This is during the period when I had no clue about modifying a car and thought aftermarket wheels were the shit.
Don't get me wrong, the choice and sizing of wheels is a critical factor when it comes to fitment, but WFC showed much more than only components.
Because of the site being a forum, people from all over the world joined WFC to show off their rides or to ask for help from fellow fitted car owners. My first day observing the site was expressed with a smile and it went on for days and weeks. It was more than just a favor or liking, but an addiction. Every morning, a cup of coffee was enjoyed with WFC and while others were studying about Biological Evolution, I was looking through the history of how stance involved.
The knowledge I have about different styles of fitment and wheel sizing all came from WFC. Just think of it as a fitment wikipedia.

Well few weeks ago, the Associate Director of WFC, Bobby Bouaphakeo, contacted me regarding their meet and was asking for coverage. I missed out on their previous meet in Santa Monica, CA and always told myself not to miss their next one, so without any doubt, September 18th was marked with an important note and alert for a 100% attendance to WFC's meet. Planned to meet up with a caravan group near my pad, I woke up early and headed straight to my car, cleaning those tire residues from daily rubbing and scraping, and right before I was about to head out, my right fender buckled. It really isn't a big deal anymore, but a problem occured once I turned my steering wheel to get some clearance to work with the fender and realizing the inner threads of both my front tires were totally gone. Long story short, home -> Irwindale Speedway -> home -> change to stock tires -> Murrieta, CA -> WFC meet @ VIP Tint.

The style of 'stance' or 'hellaflush' is becoming a universal trend in the tuning community and a car that fits perfectly with that style, without any doubt, is a Miata. So, I've come to my own conclusion; a Miata looks complete once it's slammed. To be honest, tons of Miatas are scraping the roads 24/7. Most of them are running on aggressive wheels and slammed without any fender pull, or if done, rolled and slightly pulled.
But here it is, a Miata owner who wasn't satisfied enough with a typical slammed style.
Both were quiet, we waited, and now..it's back with a meaner look.
Let me re-introduce Kevin and his Green Miata from Las Vegas, NV, representing Jock Me Crew (JMC).

Couple of weeks ago during our Low N Slow 818 Meet @ Northridge, this Civic rolled in with couple of his friends.
Slammed on CCW's, the fitment was off the chart.
The custom body color was an eye catcher as well and I couldn't leave the scene without doing a short photoshoot.
I was hoping for the owner to contact us to get a mod list, but for today, I'll just post some photos I took during the meet.

Let's start off with how much fame the car owner already has in the UK. A few years ago, his Pug 106 was in the 'Best of British' edition of the well known UK magazine Max Power. Yes, you didn't misread what I just wrote or neither did I make a mistake with the information provided by our supporter Fast-N-Modded.
Once again, the owner steps out from the shadow with another sexy car.

How many RSX Type-S's have you seen with a perfect stance like this one, owned and driven by Andrew from WA. I'm pretty sure your answer is very limited because there really aren't that many Type-S's that focus on wheel fitment.

How often do you see a Honda Fit on HRE wheels AND on Air.
If you haven't seen one yet, let me introduce you to Icky's Honda Fit from Indonesia.
We've seen few Honda Fits rolling around in our neighborhood and I've actually seen some at events/shows here in SoCal, but have never seen one like Icky's Fit.
This is one of the two rides Icky owns, the other being a
Noblesse Lux. Both are absolutely breath taking, but we'll be talking about only one today because I can only handle a certain amount of amazement.

Dial in the camber, drop it, and let the mesmerizing begin. The attention this car gets at every show it attends is either with a sound or a silence of an amazement.

This VIP style White G35 Sedan is owned by Levon Pilavjian from Arcadia, CA, who is a member of the well known G35 group, Shyne. There were couple of features in the past on G's repping Shyne, such as John's G35 Coupe featured on Just Stance.
First of all, I'm pretty sure you were amazed by the overall camber,  but what you see is only a start. From the wheels to small exterior and interior parts, this car will not only show how a VIP style car should look, but defining the term VIP style.

Escaped from Wonderland

White, a color that has so many meanings, but when it comes to cars, I shorten it down to three; purity, cleanliness, and sexiness.
Since my interest in cars, I've seen various brands/models, fixed up to the owners liking and resulting in a hate or like situation by others. It's either a crazy modded up ride or something just very simple.
This White Volkswagen, also known as the Rabbit S, is in that category of being simple but having all the three major aspects of having a white car.

Some cars are not too common to see in the U.S. like this Suzuki Swift, owned by Koho Ande from Indonesia.
This small compact car can be compared to a Scion xD or xA we see today in the States,
but don't underestimate its look because of its small size, because a drop and decent wheels will definitely make a difference like todays featured ride.

You guys know we like to bring some variety with our features.
Today, instead of sedans or coupes, I want to share a ride that's pretty different from all the cars we've seen so far.
It's a RHD 1994 Toyota Tamarraw TX owned by Haikal Taufik from Jakarta, Indonesia.
I was clicking on random threads in the WrongFitmentCrew forums and came across this ride.
At first, I was really clueless on the model of the car, but after doing some google'ing and looking at images, I have to say Haikal has the sickest stanced Tamarraw TX.

Being unique is one of the trends these days when it comes to being stance'd. Let's be honest, the stance scene has grown so fast in the automotive world, when we go to our local car meet or event, we at least see one car that's low and on wheels sitting flush all around. When there is a major stance meet, you'll either see totally different or somewhat similar looking cars. The best way to be attractive from all the others? Be unique!
Here's a car that has a set of very common wheels but stands out from all the others. Minh, from Orange County, CA, is the owner of this sexy Lexus IS 300 on Enkei RPF1's, custom painted by Simple Wheel Werks.
