Nightlight | Bagged Golf

Night Import: Photography by Dan Purpura & Jim Davis | Words by William Lee

golf 3 Once in a while, I like to bring you guys something simple, yet surprising. I know there aren't many "stance" or "fitment" fans today in the scene, but for those who actually appreciate it, the support and love goes on forever. As a stance fan myself, I wanted to feature this clean Golf R shot by our contributors Dan Purpura and Jim Davis. This car comes all the way from Chicago and the story beings right now.

Nightlight | Heavenly Supra

Night-Import: Photography by Jim Davis, Words by William Lee

Ryan's 738HP Supra
Back in the days, I disliked the purpose of modifying a car. Matter of fact, to be straight forward and honest, I didn't know much about cars as well. While you guys were impressed with an exotic car passing by your school or neighborhood, I was playing games on my PSP or talking with my friends. However, there was one car that I did like without knowing the history of it; a Toyota Supra. Something about the lines made it a sudden attraction and even after I learned about all the cars that were famous for modifying, a Supra was still in my top list of 'wanted' cars.
Today, this Supra owned by Ryan from NY shot by our photographer Jim Davis, just triggered my greediness and a step closer to selling my own car to get one. A fully functional-purpose built 1994 Toyota Supra is what we call today, a 'Heavenly Supra'.

Random Spotlight: Simple but Sexy

It really depends on your taste; what to mod first or to do last. The majority, however, modify the suspension with getting true coilovers or getting the right set of wheels that flow well with the car. Today's featured ride is in that stage of starting but already looking good enough. Here's John's 350Z on CCW's from Vista, CA.

Random Spotlight: CCW Civic

Couple of weeks ago during our Low N Slow 818 Meet @ Northridge, this Civic rolled in with couple of his friends.
Slammed on CCW's, the fitment was off the chart.
The custom body color was an eye catcher as well and I couldn't leave the scene without doing a short photoshoot.
I was hoping for the owner to contact us to get a mod list, but for today, I'll just post some photos I took during the meet.

Cesar's car is one of those that you need to see in person rather than pics. Trust me, these ain't enough.
All the modifications can be found through the link so check it out.

By the way, some changes were made: Lowered, CF A/B/C pillars with CF sunroof slider, and Alcantara headliner.
Enjoy the awesome photography.

I've been wanting to feature a non-stanced car for awhile.
Although I'm into the stance scene, I love imports that are fixed up nicely.
Not too wild, but to the point when people look at a car and say "wow!"

Waterfest 16 Event Coverage Video

July 24, 2010

Just saw this video posted @ Stance:Nation

Never seen so many cars on high class rims.
BBS's & CCW's to OZ's and other high class/rare rims, this video is awesome.
You can see that Europeans roll hard with their stance.
Let's see SoCal doing this in the future!

BMW E46 330ci rollin hard with CCW's

July 22, 2010

WOW! As much as I love bimmers that are hellaflush, this one stands out the most. Cesar, known as BMW-UDM at various forums, is rolling hard with his slick looking E46 330ci with 18" CCW Classics. His popularity in forums reached out to various popular blogs, such as Stance:Nation, doing a coverage of his car. I couldn't get enough of it, so I talked with Cesar to get more info to do a complete full coverage. My reaction? (-0-) Amazed! Cesar's ride has the combination of quality and looks, which is what I look for in stanced cars.
If you get a chance to see this BMW in Richmond, VA, give a shout out to Cesar and check his car out because it will definitely be worth it.
