How long has it been since I actually logged in and updated my blog? .... I have no idea .... I am truly sorry for all my NI fans. It's not the lack of interest in the car scene guys. I've been hearing from all my friends about the car scene and I always try to keep myself updated by checking out other car blogs. If I have to make another excuse like every blog post I write, I don't shoot anymore and pretty dam busy with my job. O well... but HEY! I'm back again! Let's jump right into what I have to show you guys today.

If you are a fan of my blog, you know that every year, I post up a coverage on SEMA. It's either me going there and covering it alone or sending my guys. Unfortunately for this year, my guys and I couldn't make it :/ So I had to look through my facebook friends/groups/etc. to see who would contribute their work for my blog. Luckily, I came across UCI's facebook group and saw a photo posted by Seijin Dootson. He gladly accepted my request and sent a few photos yesterday for my blog to share with you guys.

The first car you see up there is one of my favorite cars, the Mazda RX-7 FD. It kinda sucks to know that the FD doesn't get much recognition like the old days, but I still love it and will be one of my favorites until I die. What you see is a bit different from other modified FDs you've seen at car shows/events. The widebody is the popular Rocket Bunny kit with a wheel I have never seen by Enkei, the Enkei92. The color combo is a love at first sight kind of feeling.

The passion for cars like you and I continue on until we die. It's not just brand new cars that attract us, but also used ones that are stock or once built with aftermarket parts. Obviously, the built ones are sold much less than its original value, but if it fits our taste, then we think about if it's worth the buy. Today, you will see a car that was bought used, but built, and was built even more to fulfill the owner's taste. Let me introduce you to this beautifully built 2002 Porsche 911 Turbo owned by Chris Cossey.

Nightlight | 2JZ SC

You go to a car show and see a car with a motor that surprises everyone.
Matter of fact, even before the car show starts, you can hear the Turbo spooling up at a distance and your head automatically turns to the direction of the sound.
That's when you see a sexy black SC on Iforged wheels rolling in and getting the spotlight.

One of my good friends, Kain, introduced me to today's featured SC, owned by James Nguyen, couple of days ago before ID Auto Festival.
He asked if we were interested in featuring a SC and seeing so many these days, I had to ask what was so special about the car. Right when he said "2JZ", I didn't hesitate to say Yes.

Random Spotlight: The King of STI's

We are now back to our daily features and I'm more than skeptical to show this ride to all you Subaru fans.
I met Jeff through the WFC forums and his ride instantly caught my attention, not because of the overall stance but because of the amount of work he put into his ride to make it become a beast!

This beauty is daily driven and puts 513whp/494wtq.
You really can't judge negatively when a car is stanced and puts that much power.

Random Spotlight: Time Attack Audi A4

It's amazing how cars can be modified to surpass its own limit.
This Audi A4 2.0T Quattro is one of those cars that was modified to meet the standards of a tracking car.

Chirstian Miller, accomplished many of his plans with the A4, which became a multi-purpose race car. Christian is the driver, but the car is owned and built by 034Motorsport. Speeding through the race tracks like lightning and making sharp turns wasn't enough for this beast. The next project was to change the specifications of the car to make it rip through the Redline Time Attack road course.

Event Coverage: 7Stock Coverage

On Saturday, I had to cover 2 events and a photoshoot for my blog and juststance.com. Really long day, but I had a lot of fun. As you guys know, 7stock was going on at Irvine and it was huge! Most of the shows that are dedicated for a certain company has a good turnout. For the Scion event that happend at Longo, more than 300 cars showed up and the result for 7stock was pretty much the same. The whole parking lot of Mazda North America Corporate HQ Center was full of Mazda's. Almost all the rotaries in SoCal showed up. Even people from out of states came as well.

I took photos of rotaries that were modded to my liking because there were too many cars and half of them were just stock. I took a different step when editing the photos for this event. I added a lot of vibrance and it came out ... pretty bad :) but hope you guys like it.
