I'm finally back with an actual car show coverage! There are two car shows that I know of that cater to upcoming/future cars and current/new cars from many car companies that happen in SoCal and it's OC Auto Show and LA Auto Show. I had the opportunity to attend OC Auto Show with my friends this year and let's just say it was a breath of fresh air to see a bunch of cars in one place. They had areas to test-ride certain cars and many small events were held inside the convention center. You can tell this year's event was mostly focused on EV cars, because you know... EVs are the shiet! Jokes aside though, people are choosing EV cars due to environmental issues, but mostly because of rising gas prices and I'm with them on that one. I'm going to separate the coverage into two parts because of the amount of photos I took, so let's get on with part 1. Also, please note that I had a difficult time taking a car photo in whole because of people being around a car almost every second, so please understand.

How long has it been since I actually logged in and updated my blog? .... I have no idea .... I am truly sorry for all my NI fans. It's not the lack of interest in the car scene guys. I've been hearing from all my friends about the car scene and I always try to keep myself updated by checking out other car blogs. If I have to make another excuse like every blog post I write, I don't shoot anymore and pretty dam busy with my job. O well... but HEY! I'm back again! Let's jump right into what I have to show you guys today.

If you are a fan of my blog, you know that every year, I post up a coverage on SEMA. It's either me going there and covering it alone or sending my guys. Unfortunately for this year, my guys and I couldn't make it :/ So I had to look through my facebook friends/groups/etc. to see who would contribute their work for my blog. Luckily, I came across UCI's facebook group and saw a photo posted by Seijin Dootson. He gladly accepted my request and sent a few photos yesterday for my blog to share with you guys.

The first car you see up there is one of my favorite cars, the Mazda RX-7 FD. It kinda sucks to know that the FD doesn't get much recognition like the old days, but I still love it and will be one of my favorites until I die. What you see is a bit different from other modified FDs you've seen at car shows/events. The widebody is the popular Rocket Bunny kit with a wheel I have never seen by Enkei, the Enkei92. The color combo is a love at first sight kind of feeling.

There are many reasons why I enjoy living in California and to mention one, it's the gorgeous weather compared to other states. That's probably why many people envy people who live in CA and also because of the continuous car events and meets happening almost every week! Yesterday was one of those days with several meets going on and from the few, I decided to drop by SEIBON's Toy Drive Meet. I'm sure you heard of this company, but if you haven't, SEIBON specializes in Carbon Fiber parts for almost every make and model in the market today. They are known worldwide, even in Japan, which is why you probably heard of Volk TE37 Seibon Edition. With their continuous success in the aftermarket industry today, the company had a meet and greet opened for everyone. What made it even more interesting was Fast and the Furious star Paul Walker's scheduled attendance! Unfortunately, I left right when he arrived, so that sort of ruined my day, but the photos I took of exotics from Luxury 4 Play and Heavy Hitters made it up. O yea..and I also forgot to take a toy I bought to donate....This clumsiness is getting worse!

This week was dragging like every other week, just because studying is to the point where I can't put enough words and concepts into my head, and the weather is getting chillier, nothing really out of the ordinary, but unusual for those who live in California. Luckily, last Thursday was a time to get out of what I usually do and check out a photoshoot session that was happening at a high-end automotive shop called Auto Talent located in Carson, CA. A friend of mine who drives a GT-R R35 actually invited me to this small event and I didn't have any clue on what kind of cars were going to be there, but as you can see in the cover photo, it was much more than just R35s, but a photoshoot with few models and exotics. I was lurking around while a site called Liquid Kiss Productions was doing their thing, so let me take you through this shop and share some photos I took during my visit. Please do know this article is NSFW, so it's at your own risk if you want to fired or not.

I was debating on going to this meet after SmartWax x Chemical Guys Open House last Saturday because of being less exposed to Euro cars and wanted to expand my viewing pleasures. Driving almost 5 hours every weekend is not so wallet friendly and because I'm currently driving with -8 camber in the rears, I have to think twice on where to go and do coverage. Fortunately, my site has photographers located in various areas in SoCal and I'm always grateful when they go out there to do a coverage for the site. I had no clue Nick went to this meet until one of my friend told me Nick was using his 'stance' pose to shoot the cars, so an early thanks to Nick!

But enough with my gratitude to our photographers (love you guys) and let's get to the event.
Last week, one of the biggest BMW forums, Mfest, organized their annual gathering meet with Oakley at Oakley headquarters located in Foothill Ranch, CA. I'm clueless on how this meet started, but from what I've heard from close friends, this is a must-to-attend meet for all Euro car owners.

If you're a fan of high-end cars and live in California, 'Motor4Toys' should sound familiar.
For 7 straight years, this event was a huge success with about 1000 cars showing up every year.
First time hearing about this event?

Our mission is to bring the motorsport community together for the holidays to collect as many toys as possible for less fortunate children.

It's not only a car show, but a collaboration with many charitable organizations around the world.
Let's just say it's sort of a 'Cars & Coffee' but bigger and better.

Roll in time for show cars started at 6:30am and I was surprised with the amount of cars that showed up really early.
I'm speculating about 500+ cars were worth checking out.
From purely stock to highly modified, this event was unforgettable.
