Continuing with our Part 1 coverage, more 911's and other cars were coming in near the track area. It's usually uncommon to see such cars at one place and if you're a true automotive enthusiast, such events shouldn't be missed. Although I am still in the learning phase of knowing cars, engines, etc., I definitely do know if a car was professionally built or not. I'm not talking about wires going everywhere and having trash in the back seat. I'm talking about FIA approved seats, thoroughly placed equipments within the car, and others.

We are now back with our normal automotive event coverages and would like to start it off with last weeks event at Willow Springs Raceway, Speed Ventures Time AttackPorsche Owners Club.
Updates as of 2/28/11: I was actually confused with why there were so many Porsche's on this day and found out from one of the participants the event was for the Porsche Owners Club. SVTA was happening on the same day (according to their website), but I'm speculating the event itself was held later on during the day. I want to apologize for the confusion and the incorrect article that followed.

We are back with the second part of Redline Time Attack/Showcase.
The first part was mostly covering the Showcase section and some racers, but this one will be dedicated to all the Redline models and some other cars that participated for the Time Attack.

If you read Part 1, this girl was Miss Redline for two years.

Now to the contestants. I don't know any of their names :(

Redline Time Attack is a show that's been popular to many automotive enthusiast since 2005.
Other time attack events are usually opened to only pros, but Redline gives opportunities to Amateurs as well, which is why the show has been successful for 5 years straight.

Last week was pretty dead with events/shows and hearing about Time Attack was my only hope of enjoying my weekend with cars.
The Redline Time Attack is divided into two events; Time Attack and Showcase.
It was my first time going to this event and the amount of cars that showed up for the showcase was weak. There were awards for various categories, but it seemed like everyone was still recovering from the SEMA week.

Random Spotlight: Time Attack Audi A4

It's amazing how cars can be modified to surpass its own limit.
This Audi A4 2.0T Quattro is one of those cars that was modified to meet the standards of a tracking car.

Chirstian Miller, accomplished many of his plans with the A4, which became a multi-purpose race car. Christian is the driver, but the car is owned and built by 034Motorsport. Speeding through the race tracks like lightning and making sharp turns wasn't enough for this beast. The next project was to change the specifications of the car to make it rip through the Redline Time Attack road course.
