Last weekend, two infamous blogs; Canibeat & Hellaflush, hosted a mesmerizing event at Queen Mary located in Long Beach, CA. Yes, it's the location where Toyotafest, JCCS, and many other car shows take place. Having an event at such a grand location should make you think, "Whoa, this event is going to be off the hook!" and that's exactly what happened last Saturday. There are many misconceptions in the automotive scene and one that I come across pretty often is how a group of enthusiasts think automotive photographers don't drive nice cars. We probably see these professionals driving their Vans or SUVs to accommodate the load of camera equipment's they have, but there are a few who take a step higher. I'm talking about photographers who manage two expensive hobbies; photography and cars. I don't consider myself yet as a photographer, but I'm one of those guys who love taking photos and to modify my car, which is actually intractable because both require a lot of money and dedication, but today, I want to introduce someone who's beyond the level of many photographers, owning a ride that many of you guys might have not seen, but know him for his photography. As much as his photos are highly respected around the world, his car doesn't fall behind. A freelance professional photographer and also a contributing photographer for the well-known automotive site Canibeat, here is John Zhang's, aka 1013MM, 135i BMW.

It's always a pleasure to feature cars and write up coverages, but why not do something different? I've personally put some thought into this and today, want to officially start a 'Wheel Appreciation' post.
Today, we'll be focusing on the wheel brand and model BBS RS.
Yes, a favorite to many Euro car owners, but here are some non-Euro cars on RS's.

Event Coverage: First Class Fitment by Canibeat

Being a huge fan of Canibeat, I was really stoked to hear about their first 'stance' event, First Class Fitment. Canibeat has been around for about a year and their popularity grew tremendously. If we talk about a stance related blog, Canibeat is a site that is always mentioned.
It took a lot of effort and help from others for Canibeat to make this event happen, especially at a location where many car events don't take place; Princeton Airport in New Jersey.
Night-Import photographers were not able to make it to the event, but with a huge help from one of our fans, Elliot Smeltzer, we were able to acquire some awesome photo coverage of the event.
The first photo you guys see were the trophies made by CCW's.
Event Coverage: Formula D/Fatlace 1of1: Title Fight (Part 1)

Probably the most intense and over-crowded event in California, Irwindale Speedway held the final round of Formula D with the top drifters all around the world. But before I get into depth about the drifting event, I want to share some amazing hellaflush/stance rides in California. For every Formula D, we can't forget about the collaborating crew, Fatlace.
The top cars are chosen to show their rides like every other FD event, but yesterday was more meaningful for all the participants because of the massive amount of spectators, well-known media blog photographers, and obviously, watching the final round of Formula D.

As a Scion tC owner, it is pretty hard to find a tC that is properly stanced. Scion tC's define "sexiness" once it is slammed with the right wheels.
