Perhaps this might be over exaggerating, but S2000s represent the Honda scene with its sporty look and compactness. The discontinuation of this model became a disappointment in the automotive community and seeing one just triggered the greediness of almost every sports car fans to buy one. Slick body design, simple yet unique interior, and highly respectable performance stats of an s2k is the reason why the car has its fame.
We've seen numerous S2000s featured on blogs, sites, and magazines, some highly modified ones to just simply clean, but today, you'll be seeing one that's like no other; updated body design, simple but quality equipped interior and fully tuned and built stock motor. Random Spotlight: Amuse'ing!

Stock or not, s2k's are one of the sexiest looking sports/compact car today. The availability is obviously limited, but once in possession and if you're a modifying fanatic, the journey of shopping for aftermarket parts begin.
In general, there are a few s2k's that go full quality, but browsing through s2ki, I found one that was worth sharing with our fans.
Here's one heck of a sexy s2k from Istanbul, Turkey owned and driven by Burak Batikan AK.

Imagine the sickest Honda's at one place. Not having any interest in cars last year, I didn't know such events existed. Matter of fact, all the events I attended this year was my first and now knowing certain events being held annually, Norm Reeves Honda Car Show & Toy Drive will be in my list of attending events. This show was not as big like other major events but worth the time because some Honda's you don't see at certain shows show up to this one.



It's seriously difficult to predict the weather in California because it changes randomly so you have to be prepared. I usually don't sweat a lot but on this day, I was actually trying to hide from the sun.
Despite the weather condition, there were a decent amount of spectators to check out some cars.
I walked around the whole section first before taking photos to see what cars were new, reflecting to my past attendance at car shows and seeing thousands of cars.
It seemed like the same model cars were divided into sections except for some vendors/sponsors that were present.

I love going to local meets and sometimes, meets that are a bit far but put together by good people.
Bulletproof Automotive/GT-RR/Bespoke Ventures started since 2000 and has been growing rapidly in the automotive community. The whole group being a family, they have a blog called "The Real JDM," updating automotive enthusiasts with various car related news and their own project cars. Having many fans checking their blog, they decided to create the first BulletProof Automotive meet & greet.
I was pretty surprised with the turn out.
100+ cars came to show and the company even brought their own cars including their project GT-R.

How often do you see a small, compact car meant for purely performance, covered in carbon fiber?
I hope you are seated and ready to be amazed, because what you see is not your ordinary S2K.
If you own or even a fan of JDM cars, you've probably heard of a company called Password:JDM. Nor only did they succeed in the aftermarket automotive industry, but achieved a status greater than others by recently sending fifteen cars to this years SEMA. As much as the company exceeds in its quality of own labeled products, their availability of products have also reached out to many high-end, luxurious cars as well.
During this past month, I was able to attend Password:JDM's annual garage sale. If you know me, I don't attend these events to buy a cart load of aftermarket products, but to check out cars that come by and most importantly, the rides of staffs and project cars.
It was then when this S2K caught my attention.

Random Spotlight: Black on Gold

One of the cars that attract car lovers are s2k's.
Let's get to the facts.. it's small, fast, good looking, and a coupe! :D
Like always, I was browsing through the RSX forums and came across this s2k on Gold Volk TE37's.
These wheels are popular and common to see on tracks, but personally, I never get tired of it. It's one of those wheels that look sick, especially if they are concaved.

Spotlight: Meister status s2k

Continuation from the hellaflush cars that came all the way from Las Vegas, this is the last ride coverage, a s2k, owned by Jon Palomata.
Talk about quality in this car; Rotora BBK and Work Meisters.
Like the 2 cars I did a coverage on, Phil's S2k and Kev's Miata, this car is LOWWWWWWW.
Still amazed when I see this s2k along with his friends rides.

Spotlight: LV s2k Exclusive

I'm pretty sure you've seen this car if you're into the stance scene.
The owner of this s2k is Phil and he came all the way from Las Vegas for a photoshoot and to chill with his friends.
I first met Phil @ Formula D in Vegas. His car was STUNNING!
After getting his info and talking to him for a bit, I found out he was Stance of the Month for Stance:Nation.
All the stance related blogs or any blogs should feature Phil's ride because it's definitely one of the sickest s2k's out there today.

Combo of Enkei and S2K

I really like simple cars.
Coilovers, aftermarket wheels, and stance is enough.

This s2k belongs to Brandon and he kept it very simple and clean.

Don't be thinking simple as cheap because those words have different meanings.

From what I see in the pics, he's reppin The Chronicles, WFC, and Canibeat, which he definitely should do. I see so much potential in this car. Looking forward to see more done to it!

Unique touch to a S2K

Leif Bjarne Maeland owns this clean and unique s2k.
I've never seen such a hood design, seriously.
It is wrapped with custom 3M Grandma's wallpaper vinyl.
Sounds and looks unique eh? The car is clean and will look much cleaner, but sometimes, you could be different and props to Leif for doing so.

When I first saw the photos of Leif's s2k, I thought he was on WORK's, but found out they were Gram Lights 57 Optimise, which I never heard of before.
They look sick and amazing!! and because he is "stance'd," it's even better. Leif was telling me that he didn't have a massive list of mods done to his car, but it really doesn't matter as long as you have the wheels and the stance.

Green Beast s2k

Representing the "Wilkesboro Crew " all the way from NC, Blake Minton, aka stewie69, drives this sexy beast s2k. Personally, I've never seen an s2k in this color, and after seeing the pics of Blake's ride, I can say that it matches perfectly with the car. I've told you guys before that I'm an Enkei fan and from all those models, my favorites are the rpf1 and NT03+M. This s2k is rolling on 18x10.5 wheels with an offest of +30, wrapped with 225/40(F) & 245/40(R) cooper zeon tires. An aggressive fit and stance for the s2k and Blake managed to pull it off. I've always wanted to get an s2k and seeing these pictures of Blake's tempts me to get one even more.
