Night-Import: Photography and Words by William Lee

“Hidden in the Shadows..” is a common phrase used in many adventurous novels or maybe in fantasy movies. Those characters or objects come out of nowhere, getting that sudden attention and becoming one of the most memorable moments by readers and viewers. Surprisingly, the automotive scene is no different. Cars you’ve never seen before is parked at an event or meet and it blows your mind, not realizing the time flying by while the cars are being scrutinized by others and you yourself. This car I’m about to introduce to you guys has rarely gone out to meets or events and you had to be lucky enough to see a photo in its current stage. Today, this car will be properly introduced for the first time and will never be seen in a few months. Read along the story to find out why..

Random Spotlight: Junction Produce Previa

Night-Import: Photography by William Lee

11.18.10 -12

If you love VIP cars, I'm pretty sure you know much about Estima's in Japan.
So far, I haven't seen a JDM Estima here in the states, but found one that was nearly identical; a Toyota Previa with JDM Toyota Estima conversion with a Full Junction Produce body kit.
Owner of this ride is Normandie, a very good friend of mine who loves cars and has been in the automotive scene for quite a long time. I always promised a photoshoot, but the timing always slipped. Luckily, I found a set of photos I took during the Low N Slow Northridge meet, so here are a few shots I want to share.

Event Coverage: The Pursuit 2

October 4, 2010

10.3.10 -88

October seems like the month when all the events are forced to happen.
The month just started and already, there were three events on Sunday.
For those who check the sites status on Facebook, you guys knew I was planning to go to 3 events, and yes, I did.
If you guys want it, I get it!

Out of the year, 'The Pursuit' is the largest Lexus show that happens in SoCal. I don't know where it took place last year, but this year, it was at Irwindale Speedway, the same place where the Scion show occured.
The turnout was amazing and I'm speculating more than 300+ cars showed up.
Never seen so many VIP's in one show and I'm pretty sure the AutoFashion event will have more, but for a Lexus show, seems like 20~30% were VIP cars, which is the reason why I enjoyed walking around taking pictures.
It's not an everyday opportunity to see all types/models of Lexus's coming from different states to show their car and drag race. As much as I enjoyed the show, the amount of spectators present was great and they enjoyed it as well.

Random Spotlight: Best VIP Camry

September 28, 2010

In my opinion, VIP or VIP styled cars is one of the best looking themed cars in the import scene. The choices of wheels, camber, stretch, drop, .. almost everything about it defines a "sick" car.

Here's a VIP styled car that I guarantee you guys will love!
It's a Camry modified in Thailand..and yes, it is a Camry ACV30 (or MCV30) = 6th generation (2001-2006).
I remember seeing couple of pics of this Camry in the past, but didn't get a chance to see the whole thing. Luckily, I found the whole batch of it in VIPstylecars.com. I don't have any information regarding its modification list, but you can get an idea of how well this car was made.
Thailand is stepping up their game in the VIP scene and they are making the sickest VIP cars as of today.

I hope this car becomes a stepping stone for all of you guys out there planning to go in the VIP route. Do it right!

Speechless....
One of the sickest looking VIP cars I've seen so far.
The car owner known as KingPin at various forums wrote up a little story about his car..
The Car took 18 mts from the first time we decided to build it , Thanks to Skperformance Who showed me a junction procude Y34 ina vip mag.. . Project started off by getting a JP Kit and going from that point on we added only the best of the best in parts , AC maq rims , Juntion Produce body kit , air runner , BFG kdw tires easy street air management , and all new hard lines for air lines , on install on the air runner almost all the suspension parts were changed along with the brakes and rotors which were slotted and drilled.
As for now the next plan is to upgrade the brakes to BBK , new rims and a Dad Fur interior and some fender work to run 19/10 and 19/11.5 and a new paint job >> stay tuned .. this build is not over yet its just started ..
It's all about inspiration guys. That's how my car started and I'm guessing how it started with all of ya rides.
