You guys know we like to bring some variety with our features.
Today, instead of sedans or coupes, I want to share a ride that's pretty different from all the cars we've seen so far.
It's a RHD 1994 Toyota Tamarraw TX owned by Haikal Taufik from Jakarta, Indonesia.
I was clicking on random threads in the WrongFitmentCrew forums and came across this ride.
At first, I was really clueless on the model of the car, but after doing some google'ing and looking at images, I have to say Haikal has the sickest stanced Tamarraw TX.
It's basically a minibus but tucking Axia King wheels in the rear and sitting pretty in the front.
By the way, the car is also known as Kijang and sold in Indonesia and Brunei (sold in other countries as well).
I personally think this ride would be a hit in the states because of its uniqueness.
Wheels
Axia King 17x8 et 35 Allround
Fr: Adapter 20mm, Final offset 15
Rr: Spacer 16mm, Final Offset 19
Achilles ATR Sport 205/40
Suspension
Front: Daihatsu hijet 55 Shockbreaker, Stocks Springs, Lowered with torsion bolt
Rear: Isuzu Panther Custom, Lowered by Repressed the Leaf springs
Body & Frame
Flared Rear and Front Fenders
Full repainted body Blueish Maroon by Spies Hecker
Rewelded rear chassis
Took about 3 inches of its thickness that align with the rear axle
I'm loving how the car sits. Not extremely low, but to the point where all the wheels are sitting flush to the fenders.
I'm glad to see Haikal repping the stance movement in a country where fitment is not too known.
Awesome ride and a great person deserves a feature. Keep it up Haikal!
