Event Coverage: AutoFashion 4th Annual VIP Festival
November 8, 2010
People who own VIP/VIP style cars and VIP enthusiasts were stoked about AutoFashion's VIP Festival. I remember first seeing a VIP styled car at Hellaflush 5 and had no idea how the style and word originated, but that was before I got into cars this year. I heard from many others, even from staffs from AutoFashion, telling me how the show started out very small but grew every single year with people coming down from other states and even from other countries.
Some people thought the VIP scene was going to die out, but it's been the opposite.
The movement is growing and getting better in the U.S.
Before getting into depth about the festival itself, I want to share some photos that were taken at the caravan from VIP tint + glass located in Murrieta, CA. The amount of cars that showed up and the caravan itself was EPIC!
Norman's sexy Lexus on JP wheels. Thanks again for the invite yo!
VIP or not, all styles were welcomed.
Excluding myself, probably the only tC in CA that's attempting the VIP style. Kain's the owner and he's been working on his car for quite a long time. His feature will come very soon!
Josh and his friends came along to take some photos for the caravan. He had 3 people in his car and his friend, Jesus, was sticking out his head the whole time taking rolling shots.
The Demon cambered Q's! Oscar, Charles, and Josh.
Don't be hating if you see too much camber because that's how these guys roll!
Astonishing..
Charle's Q on new wheels!
Kain's ride rolling sexy on the freeway.
Caravan video will be coming soon!!
Couldn't miss the moment of sick VIP/VIP styled cars rolling at once so sorry if the photos are a bit blurry.
Anyways, you can find more photos at VIP'd Out.
We arrived at around 10:30am and the place was already packed.
The cars were lined up to park and I took the opportunity to take some photos.
The main lot was a bit too small so other rides had to park across the street.
Glad to see this ride making it to the event. If you can recall, it was at SEMA.
Slammed!
Owners and spectators chilling at the lot.
One of the biggest lips I've seen on Work Equips.
Norman's ride sitting pretty.
The main lot with cars already parked and some getting in.
Great job to all the staffs of AutoFashion.
It's JDM yO! always at huge events. I don't really know the guys too well except Keith, but I've been checking out their site the longest and like to represent their name.
I had so much fun just taking pictures.
Now I heard everytime you go to AutoFashion's VIP Festival, you expect to see one ride that blows your mind and I think that's what happend when I saw this Odyssey.
The interior and wheels were from D.A.D., another popular VIP product line.
When I go to events, I always walk around the parking area, expecting to see some sexy rides. As usual, there were ones in my interest parked across and on the sides, such as this Lexus IS on SSR's.
There were some known companies that came to vendor; Work, Kranze, Ings+1, and Air Runner.
My second time seeing a VIP styled Chrysler after SEMA.
I thought Christopher Wu's ride was the only one who had a fully converted Rumion xB, but found another one yet not fully converted, VIP styled xB with some Rumion parts.
Going to this event and taking a closer look into the Q's, Lexus's, etc. made me appreciate the VIP scene even more.
Josh's ride got stuck going up a hill to park and it was my second time seeing this happen to him. Last time, he got stuck coming out of a parking lot.
Low N Slow and others.
It was good seeing the 818 guys coming to support AutoFashion.
If you didn't get a chance to see Milt's new setup, well here you go. - offset Garson wheels with huge lips.
Peter's new set of wheels as well. He's getting into the aggressive look and decided to go with wide steelies.
Greg's ride on the same SSR's but bigger lips.
This Estima was beautiful. On Junction Produce wheels and JP interior.
Dara's ride looks always new when I see it. Newly done tints by VIP tint + glass. Repping LowBallers!
Cars were constantly coming in. Props to everyone who came down from the OC/LA area.
First time seeing an Acura on Work Equips.
The lot got packed! the others had to park on the curbs.
Simple Wheel Werks and FckYourCrew came as well. Good to see good people.
AF staffs were assisting others on Ruckus's.
B E A U T I F U L.
Loved everything on this Acura.
Vendors sitting back and relaxing.
Couple of rides I've seen on the forums. Stance cars ftw!
One of the best looking tC's in CA.
Chris's ride on Work Equips.
I remember seeing these rides at The Pursuit 2.
Stance'd hatchbacks on some sexy wheels.
Tan from Password:JDM came to the event. His CF s2k will be featured in a bit.
Wes's SC reppin Team Supastar.
More and more people showing up!
It's JDM yO!
Not related to VIP at all but these two TJIN edition Camaro's got the spotlight.
Tony's NSX
Loved this Skyline.
Raffle time! Some great prizes were handed out, such as JP neck pads, t-shirts, etc.
