Event Coverage: 7Stock Coverage

On Saturday, I had to cover 2 events and a photoshoot for my blog and juststance.com. Really long day, but I had a lot of fun. As you guys know, 7stock was going on at Irvine and it was huge! Most of the shows that are dedicated for a certain company has a good turnout. For the Scion event that happend at Longo, more than 300 cars showed up and the result for 7stock was pretty much the same. The whole parking lot of Mazda North America Corporate HQ Center was full of Mazda's. Almost all the rotaries in SoCal showed up. Even people from out of states came as well.

I took photos of rotaries that were modded to my liking because there were too many cars and half of them were just stock. I took a different step when editing the photos for this event. I added a lot of vibrance and it came out ... pretty bad :) but hope you guys like it.



A lot of side events were going on. What you guys see are people watching a tech teaching "how to build an engine." I didn't watch it, but heard it was pretty awesome.

Anyways, to the cars that were displayed in front of the entrance.



Never seen those rims but the overall look was dam sick..

This car was tight. It had carbon fiber doors and other CF parts.

The gold center finished SSR MS1's looked pretty good.





The girl at the left looked familiar..i think she was working for the SmartWax booth @ Shakotan..

Weather was cold and cloudy. Pictures came out pretty dark...












A lot of the cars that you guys see were at JCCS. Very clean and well built.





Thought those were real Brides but nope! Clean engine bay though..



Another engine bay was polished up!





V-mount intercooler!! This setup is usually for drifters. It costs...about...$3k.

I don't know why, but I'm not a fan of the matching color strip of the rim.

Wrapped up front lip...not a fan..but unique so giving the owner props..





Another V-mount intercooler. This guy had some quality stuff for his engine.







One parking lot was full with RX-8's. I liked this one...

The RX-7 I did a coverage on couple of days ago. He just got this hood from Japan. Trust me..you can't find this in the U.S. or anywhere else.



Red RX-7's are sooo nice...







If only the lambo doors were gone....but the rims were good stuff. Gram Lights 57 Pros..I miss my old wheels :)

Now you guys know I'm a fan of BBS's and I own a set as well, but this car does not look good with BBS RS's at all. Very different..but not a fan..

The owner should've gotten lower offset Enkei's.
