Night-Import: Photography and Words by William Lee
Now to the final part of my coverage on JCCS. I'm actually sad that I wasn't able to stay too long for this event because of having to attend S-Chassis Car Show, but the experience of attending this event will never be forgotten. An opportunity to see rare and classic cars does not come too often and because this event is held in California annually, many people who live out of states or even those who live in different countries attend this event for coverage purposes or to please their eyes with pristine and flawless classic rides.
Toda Racing had this Civic CVCC on display. Not too sure what kind of work was done to it, but seems like that person was enjoying the interior.
This model is the RS 6.0 series for the Scion tC. I personally hate the overall body shape of the new ones, but the paint color was sexy.
A Toyota Celica GT Liftback owned by Dan Gurney, a legendary racer.
Talk about a rare classic! A 1968 Toyota 2000GT! Only about 300 were made and auctions for about $300k. I would be scared to drive this beauty...maybe even be paranoid when I open the door or something..
Remember Han driving like a boss in a Lexus LF-A with a chick sitting on top him during one of the last scenes of Fast 5? Well this one is not from that movie (^-^)v
Celebrity Tona Danza's Celica.
Mackin Industries is everywhere!
The companies AE86.
So shexy! Volk TE37Vs blending in nicely with the cement colored Datsun from Mackin.
This Matte(?) finish looked pretty beastly.
Sitting on Work Equips.
No description needed because all of you guys should know about this AE86.
One of my favorite AE86s from the event. Paint color was stunning, but it was the wheels that caught my attention. Check out that lip on the new Work Meister CR01.
Snaps of classics.
M~ 1989 Integra.
This Mitsubishi 1981 Lancer had the style on Watanabes.
Bisimoto's Civic Wagon is always popular. If you didn't know, this one pulls 700HP.
This Starlet won a few awards at all the events I've been to during this past month or so.
Let's take a quick break.... OK! back to the coverage.
Ah! A classic Soarer!
CVCCs.
Matte Blue Datsun 200SX.
Now...this 1987 200SX......was amazing...I literally walked around and observed this car for 10~15 minutes...
Done deal.. clap clap clap.
BOSS!
Look at that oil cooler.
There's always a good display at the far end of this showcase lot. During TORC, VIP Autosalon took this location and displayed their project cars. For JCCS, old school Datsuns were pleasing the eyes of classic car fans.
Let's go for a ride honey!
Fitted!
I like!
Holy clean!
A mix of old and new.
Pristine as it can be.
Team Infinit.
Domo fan.
Some old school Japanese people sitting on top of this car will make this photo look 100x better.
Cosmo Sport 110S.
Race cars! Can I take one to drive to work?
Jesse's Celica from team Low N Slow was an eye catcher!
Time for raffles!
I was finally able to take a shot of this Rx-4 from Heavy Hitters.
The showcase lot was good enough, but I took some time to capture the cars rolling out of the spectators lot.
They be like 'huh?'
Slammed Miata.
Terry's Miata from team Infinit.
Thanks for the thumbs up!
Hope you guys enjoyed my coverage on JCCS! Can't wait till next year! WOOT!
