We are now back with our normal automotive event coverages and would like to start it off with last weeks event at Willow Springs Raceway, Speed Ventures Time AttackPorsche Owners Club.
Updates as of 2/28/11: I was actually confused with why there were so many Porsche's on this day and found out from one of the participants the event was for the Porsche Owners Club. SVTA was happening on the same day (according to their website), but I'm speculating the event itself was held later on during the day. I want to apologize for the confusion and the incorrect article that followed.

While I'm on the topic of SVTA:
This is how it breaks down. The rules are pretty much the same as the 2010 Redline Time Attack, divided into 4 categories; Enthusiast, Street Tire, Modified, and Super-Modified. It further divides into another 3 categories; FWD, RWD, and AWD.
Around 8:30am, there were tons of Porsche's getting ready for their session and this session was NOT related to the RTA or SVTA. This was a separate event itself.

Checking all the motor work before heading out.

At this time, I was pretty much spying around the area to take some shots and the owners were actually kind enough to show their cars.

These beauties were sounding so mean!

The owner of this 911 came up to me and was asking if I wanted to take some shots of his ride. Without any hesitation, my camera was going crazy.

Just give me a few months and I'll definitely let you guys know more about European motors.
I was going to talk with the owner, but he had to quickly check his car before his time came up.

However, I'm pretty sure this is one of the mods to keep the transmission cooler.

Not too sure if this 911 GT3RS was running in the tracks today. It was parked next to my car and I had to move mine because it my making my car look like s***.
