Night-Import: Photography by William Lee
This weekend was really packed with events. It seems like February is the month when major car shows start and choosing the right one to go to is just a difficult decision to make. You seriously want to attend every single one because every event is worth the time. On Saturday, I was able to attend and show my ride at Extreme Autofest/Remix's event at San Diego. Today, I was about to go to WEKFEST early in the morning, but decided to stay and attend Nismolism at Cal State Fullerton.
This event was pretty special in some way because it was aiming for a Guinness World Record; the most Nissans and Infiniti. If I do recall correctly, I think the MC said 250+ Nissans. I have no clue if it actually broke the record, but there were tons of cars showing and a line of spectators before the car show started.
The event was open to old school...
to recent year cars, such as this Z on Work Meisters.
Another Z on Volk ce28n's parked at the corner.
I was pretty surprised to see a lot of spectators, and even more surprised to see a good turnout.
Never seen such a wing, but the NT03+M's were looking good.
Loved the huge lips on those AME's.
I've seen this S14 before and it's still looking good.
Work Equips are one of my favorite wheels.
MB Battles are one of the many choices for concave wheel lovers.
First time seeing this body kit.
Talk about being slammed.
We might be bringing our 'Wheel of the Month' post back from the dead and start the 2nd one with these beauties, Gram Lights 57s-pro.
Same car, different angle. Just keeping it clean and simple.
Never seen these wheels before? I found out these were made by a company called Vossen.
Another Infinite with Vossen but in different finish.
Those Volks are hard to come by now.
Props to the owner.
There was a category for "The Most Dirtiest". Being straight up and honest, the car was dirty.
Gram Lights again, and this time, on a Z.
Wanted to observe this car...
Slammed on some Benz wheels.
This Cressida was unique and something about it looked sexy.
Skyline, but the gap was really...unappealing...
There were actually 3 Skylines and I personally liked the middle one the most.
Nicely done S14 on Work XD9 wheels.
One of my favorites for sure.
The wheels were bright as hell, but looked really good on the S13.
Check out this ride.
Pretty epic. I'm sure the owner drag races this car.
'Historical Vehicle'. Don't mess.
?
Ooo yes! Concave Volk TE37's are always a win.
Still my favorite S14 since the S Chassis Car Show last year.
One of the S14's I needed to shoot last year. Still haven't done it yet and I forgot to talk to the owner :/
Met the owner of this car this year and planning to shoot it asap. The owner is very well known in the Silvia scene, but I'll talk more about it when we feature his ride :)
Classic of the Classics.
David Pham's Civic parked at the spectator's lot. I can see the domo's taking over the car and the girl liking the mustache on the front bumper.
Fontana Nissan brought few of their project cars.
GT-R. Enough said.
Time Attack Z.
Talina's Cube, which got featured on Fatlace:Slammed Society a few weeks ago.
People buying some raffle tickets or doing something.
NOS fans being too happy.
These AME's are for sale!
Clean S2k.
Some sick cars rolled in before I left. S14 on Work Equips and a Z on Black Chrome Meisters.
Spotted the Hello Titty sticker.
Hope you guys enjoyed the coverage. The weather is getting crappy these days, so keep yourselves warm and stay healthy.
