It's been a pretty busy week for me going to meets and doing interviews with a few companies here in Southern California. Surprisingly, no meets/events happened on Saturday that were close by, so it was a day to rest and edit some photos from previous coverages. At the same time, I was excited about JDM Sport's first meet and greet at AJP Distributor's HQ, the West Coast HQ/Distributors for JDM Sport, that happened yesterday. As most of you guys know by now, I go to meets almost every weekend or even 3 times a week depending on what goes on, and every time when I walk around doing my thing, I bump into Lee Ho, marketing/PR director of JDM Sport. This guy has been active than any other friend/company staff I've known since he officially announced the opening of JDM Sport. Knowing his activeness and relationships with other people in the automotive industry, I knew this meet was going to have a huge turnout and as expected, more than 200 cars showed up!
Claim Ho from Firm400 brought out the entertainers and Johnny Ho called up the famous food trucks, Dos Chinos and DogZilla, to participate to sell their insanely good food.
Our site has been promoting this event for about a month and the response were pretty good compared to other events we've posted in the past. Obviously, people love free meets and when you add in the famous food trucks..you get a crazy turnout.
However, I was a bit concerned about the date of the meet because it was the same day as Mother's Day. It's not like JDM Sport didn't know about this, but when you have major events coming up in May and June, there really isn't no choice, which is why the company changed the time to 4pm-10pm. Despite the minor conflict, everything went well.
After my family time around the afternoon, I showed up around 2pm and there were cars already parked getting ready for the meet.
VIP spots were filled in a matter of time and vendors were getting ready for the people.
Although this was a meet, there were some major companies that came to support, such as Toyo Tires.
Lee at the mic hosting the event.
Our supporting company, Elite-Autosports, and the owner saying wsup!
Infestforum.com came to support JDM Sport. Make sure to check out their forum.
A few Genesis Coupes rolled in as well.

Around 4pm, cars were starting to come in and the lot got filled quickly.
Most importantly, the weather was perfect. It was windy at some times, but having a hot, sweaty week, a chilly weather wasn't bad at all.
It was a surprise to see Greddy GPP's 350Z. Random Spotlight feature later on.
I'm not too sure why I took this photo, but I think the owner was doing something that caught my attention..
But I know why I took this photo, because the driver in this Mustang decided to act like a jerk and did donuts before he left.
To the owner/driver of the Mustang: Be lucky that I still don't have a zoom lens. If I did, your face would've been taken and be shared to the public. It's people like that are killing all the meets.
Now back to our coverage, even the back parking lot was packed.
This Solara was looking sick! You don't see too many modified ones out there.
DJ Pow in his Time Attack Si.
Nicely fitted s2k.
To the main stage, the DJ's of the day.

Lee Ho, marketing/PR director of JDM Sport. If you see this guy, don't hesitate to go up to him and say Hi. He's an awesome person to talk to.
Also, don't forget about Firm400, covering various lifestyles in SoCal.
Spotted MyImportFashion doing his thing.
Time to share some cars that were at the meet.

Didn't get to see Norman, but if you've been following with our meet coverages, you've seen this ride a few times.
Around 5:30pm, the weather was getting cloudy, but people were still rolling in.
Here's a teaser photo of a photoshoot that was done yesterday on-site.
Didn't get a chance to take a better photo of this Evo, but the overall setup was looking good.
No idea why I took this photo, but as mentioned before, there's always a reason..

This photo came out really bad, but I managed to make the car visible. Really loved the wheel choice and BBK setup.
At the back lot, a few people surrounding a s2k.
