Cars & Coffee is one of those meets you do not want to miss if you are a true automotive enthusiast. From high-end luxurious cars to Classics, Cars & Coffee is a weekly Saturday meet opened to everyone. Here's an introduction of the meet on the official website:
Welcome to Cars and Coffee™ Irvine. This site is dedicated to the car enthusiast. Cars and Coffee™ is a weekly Saturday morning gathering in Irvine, California where hundreds of proud drivers congregate to kick tires and have a cup of coffee. There is something for everyone to enjoy; classics, exotics, concepts, hotrods, motorcycles and motor-sport. And it’s all free, minus the coffee of course. There are approximately thirteen locations in the US that have great turnouts
(More information can be found at Cars & Coffee's official website) and being hungry to attend an event after a months worth of nothing, I woke up at 5:30am for an hour drive to Irvine, CA.
One of the reasons why I decided to head out to this event was because of the positive reviews by those who attend or from those who show their cars. I was very skeptical to see tons of rides already parked at the headquarters of Mazda in Irvine. It was about 7:10am and the place was overcrowded with people holding a cup of coffee and walking around taking photos and talking with car owners.
As mentioned on their website, this meet is opened for any automobiles. It doesn't matter if you have a car or not. |
