Night-Import: Photography and Words by William Lee

Continuing on from Part 1, I'll be going over the rest of the showcase lot and some other detailed photos. As mentioned previously, the purpose of this meet was to donate canned foods and money to the victims in Japan. The booth you guys see is where all the donated goods were handed in.

I left off finishing the left side of the lot, so starting the right side with Jeremy's hellaflush tC.

I remember seeing this Prelude on a different set of wheels before and it's looking fresher with those new White Work Equips.

Fully polished TE37s.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-72
Few more cars in line to get a spot.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-73
One thing I learned by going to tons of meets; if you see Dos Chinos, you'll definitely see a good turnout.

This is Team Praxis's truck on Gram Lights. G'd out for sure.

I thought I took a photo of this widebody GS, but seems like I missed it. I've seen this car before while the motor was being built.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-14
Liking the wheel and BBK combo?

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-95
While I was busy taking photos at the other end of the lot, a few more cars took some spots at the other side.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-96
Videographer at the left doing his thing. Looking forward to see some video coverage on this meet.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-97
I believe this BMW belonged to Yuya's brother. White on Green? I don't mind.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-99
There's David, another staff from VIP Modular Wheels.

Those VIP Modular VX series on the LS above were actually chrome dipped.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-104
I really don't know what to say about this Benz because it was full of win.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-135
Gorgeous paint, perfect choice on VIP Modular wheels, and the right stance.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-106
One of my favorite cars at this meet was this Track-built Lexus GS.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-128
You usually don't see a VIP car in the states like this one, compared to GSs that are normally drifted or tracked in Japan.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-127
The interior had almost everything that a track car needed, which meant the motor had to follow. A 2JZ-GTE looking pretty under the hood.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-108
Like myself, few people were looking at this car with amazement.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-109
Can't forget about NOS Energy Drinks.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-110
After taking some shots and resting under the shade, I walked back to the other side of the lot to see if there were new cars.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-111
I didn't expect to see Chris's ride at all. I'm definitely a huge fan of it and as before, took some time checking out the wheels and fitment.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-112
Take a look at that camber. Great job Chris! Love it!

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-114

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-117
The crowd was building up.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-118
Although I support authenticity, I do understand those who can't afford high-end wheels and never have I talked smack about them. But the ONLY time when I'll go crazy over replica wheels is when non-matching center caps are on it, like this one. Why would anyone try to put on BBS center caps on XXRs. I don't get this at all, but seems like some people just want to do it.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-119
Peter's Evo from PVR Motorsports.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-120
Pimp!

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-121
and this kid is starting young.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-122
I usually don't see Kogi at meets, but seems like Johnny Ho made it happen.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-124
Booths of NOS and It's JDM yO!

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-126
RYWIRED CR-X. I've seen this ride on The Chronicles a few times.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-130
This SC rolled in before I left. Looking sick!

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-132
I saw this guy and few of his friends walking back and forth, and found out they were from StanceWorks.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-134
Photographers going crazy when models are present.

VIP Mod. x Praxis Charity Meet-85
Great meet and turnout! I have no clue on how much was raised or the amount of canned foods donated, but it was good to see automotive enthusiasts coming to support.
