Night-Import: Photography and Words by William Lee

Encore-95
It's not a surprise anymore to go onto facebook and get notifications on upcoming events. I've pretty much set my whole schedule up for all the major and minor meets/events and one meet that was marked on my calender was yesterday's meet called Encore at Five Axis HQ hosted by Scion Evolution. This meet is a charity event to raise funds and awareness for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). I didn't have time to attend last year's meet, but according to some friends, I heard it was a meet not to miss out on, so after a local meet at Van Nuys, CA, I headed directly to Huntington Beach, CA to see what was in for a surprise.

Encore-1
Outside of the entrance were some cars that caught my attention like this slammed Wagon.

Good thing about going to meets is not knowing what cars will come out and occasionally, there will be ones that will blow your mind. Once I saw this murdered-out Miata, I took a few minutes looking around the interior and exterior.

Encore-11
From the Carbon Fiber hood to the Canards, everything about this car was stunning.

Do-Luck Widebody Evo owner just got a manifold from Full Race and I had to take a photo of it before it went on the car. Look at those weldings..

Encore-72

Encore-73
Next to where the 626 people showed their cars was this Asian and White guy (now shown) skateboarding. I had no idea why this side event was going on, especially when there were show cars all around the lot. If I had my car parked close to where this was happening, I wouldn't have felt safe and in the worse case scenario, one of these guys might have ran in or mess up on their tricks, hitting the cars....and yes, that happened. One of the guys f'd up on a trick, skateboard was rolling down, he jumped to save the skateboard, he rolled down, and kicked the door of the LS1 'custom paint' S14. Funny part was that the guy who hit the car was apologizing, but the dude you see in the photo came up and tried to step up his attitude, saying like it wasn't a big shit to deal with. After hearing this happening, I got pretty pissed because this guy had no idea what the fuk he was talking about. I'm writing up this short story so that you guys know who these people are and 100% responsible for the damages on the car. The end.

Encore-74
Back on topic, saw a Cusco engraved strut bar on some car.

Encore-75
