Only a few places in Japan are known for their car meets, and one location that's still known for their turnouts is Umihotaru. If a meet gets raided at Daikoku Futo, this is the 2nd location where everyone comes to. Few days ago, our photographer Charles dropped by to check it out. As expected, the meet was overwhelmed with beautiful cars.

RE-Amemiya Rx-7 FD3Ss and Rx-8 parked aggressively inside the parking lot. Not too long ago, the annual Rx-7 Gathering was held at Umihotaru after its moving from Daikoku Futo. To read more about the meet, check out these articles from Speedhunters; Part 1 and Part 2.

While we're in the topic of RE-Amemiya, here's a Porsche inspired front end conversion on a RE-Amemiya Rx-7 FD3S. A lot of mixed feelings going on about this kit, but I personally love it.

Japan-7
It seems like many cars were coming in and out.

Japan-8
Line of JZXs sitting pretty.

Japan-4
How beautiful is that? Concaved Volk TE37s are drool-worthy.

Japan-3
I spot a Hachi Roku.

Japan-6
Not pink...but not purple...Pinkurple?

Japan-12
Now that's Pink.

Japan-11
So clean, yet aggressive.

I see myself at this place next year or maybe this year. If my plan on going to Tokyo Auto Salon happens, you'll definitely see a coverage. Thanks again to our photog Charles! <3
